The story I carry
A Calling Rooted in Compassion
From as far back as memory reaches, I carried a fierce desire to heal, to be a doctor, a keeper of health and hope. Growing up, I watched a parent navigate illness and the labyrinth of medicine, their struggles shaping the roots of my own calling. Their journey through hardship ignited a quiet fire within me: to walk a path of care and compassion for those in need.

Awakening to Energy Medicine
My formal healing journey began humbly at Pangea, a small sanctuary where I first met the currents of energy medicine: Polarity Therapy, Reiki, Cranial Sacral, and Western Herbalism. These early teachings, though informal, opened a door into the unseen landscapes of the body’s vitality and spirit.
Embracing the Body’s Wisdom
The road led me next to The Massage School in Massachusetts, where I deepened my understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology through hands-on learning. It was there I first touched the world of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, receiving treatments at a community clinic, exchanging presence for care, and eventually becoming part of that healing circle. The ancient medicine spoke to me, its wisdom echoing in my bones, and my mentors became beacons on my path.
The Path Within
I journeyed westward to Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, where I embraced the art of contemplation. Studying Yoga, Tai Chi, and Meditation, I learned that healing begins within, a truth embodied in Naropa’s motto: “Transform yourself, transform the world.”
Dancing with the Tao
Settling in Portland, Oregon, I immersed myself at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, earning a Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Here, I witnessed the Tao’s dance in all things:
“The Tao gives birth to the One. The One gives birth to the Two. The Two gives birth to the Three. The Three gives birth to the ten thousand things.” (Tao Te Ching 42)
This understanding deepened my reverence for the body and the world’s interwoven mysteries.
Walking the Mystery Path
Drawn to deeper mystery teachings, I spent four years at the Golden Web Mystery School, learning to commune with the elements, access ancestral wisdom, and forge sacred relationships with my allies, guides seen and unseen.
Weaving Medicine and Spirit
With these teachings held close, I worked in Chinese Medicine as an herbal technician, crafting and dispensing remedies that connected practitioners, plants, and people in the web of healing.
Entering the Wise Blood Years
Now, as I step into my Crone Years, my Wise Blood Years, all these threads of knowledge and spirit weave together, ready to be offered in service to your healing journey. Here, in this sacred space, we gather to remember, restore, and rise.
